Set Big Goals. Crush Them. Repeat.

"If you have the courage and commitment to start, you’ll find the strength and endurance to continue."

We’ll begin with a rule without an exception…

That’s why every entrepreneur needs to master the art of the start which is driven by the disciplines of starting fast, strong and purposeful.

Think about it…

There will never be a product launch nor business startup during your career which does not provide you with a life changing and character defining choice…

• To start fast, focused and fully engaged…

• To blast out of the gate with everything you’ve got…

• To use this one-time window-of-opportunity to set a pace, send a message to your competitors and to put some quick wins on the board.

Your opening moves, regardless of what you are pursuing…

Should be strong enough to overcome inertia.

Powerful enough to give you a surge of momentum.

And, exciting enough to unleash one bold, audacious move after another.

Conversely, there will never be a product launch nor business startup which does not provide you with a life changing and character defining choice…

To start slow, apprehensive and second guessing your every move.

The former is the sign of a champion…the latter is the mark of a fool.

Precisely because every task, goal, product launch and startup starts at zero, day one…

You have an opportunity and obligation to capitalize on it.

Should you choose not to, I assure you…you’ll come to regret that decision.

Why?

Because nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.

IT’S DECISION TIME

So what’s it going to be?

Are you going to start your startup fast, focused and fully engaged…or, are you choosing to go slow, uncommitted and not believing in yourself or your idea?

What kind of competitor spots an opportunity to win…

Who sees the chance to erase the competition from the game early…

Who knows in their heart the right way to begin anything new…

And still chooses to start slow and uncommitted?

Are you going to pounce on every new task, goal, project and product launch with the intent to start fast, strong and purposeful or not?

I think you already know that answer.

"Your ability to provide yourself with a big, bold and beautiful vision of where you want to go and who you want to become is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Vision holds the promise of what shall one day be."

Here’s my promise to you…

Throughout the remainder of your life, you’re going to start a new year, new tasks, new goals and launch new products…

Why not deliberately summon an extraordinary performance?

Why not act with confidence and aggressively move the needle right from day one?

Why not send a message by starting each day and project fast and finishing everything you do from a position of strength?

There’s no denying this final point…we’re all playing a high stakes game of one and done.

• What’s the point of hesitating, holding back, and obstructing what you have to give?

• Why cheapen, undermine and waste the gift of your potential?

• Why choose failure, uncertainty and mediocrity when success and abundance was within your reach?

One choice leads you to a feeling of contentment and of great personal pride…in knowing that you gave everything and held nothing back.

While the other choice leaves you with a deep feeling of resentment, disgust and disappointment in yourself…a sense that you’ve sold-out and squandered time, opportunity and potential.

I’m fairly conservative in many areas of my life but conservative does not describe how I go about achieving my goals and starting anything new.

I’m of the belief that if you are going to invest your time, talents and resources in launching your startup, then you owe it to yourself to find the fastest way to get the job done.

And that can only mean one thing…

You start everything fast and focused…and you always finish strong.

Aristotle nailed it when he said…

“Men acquire a particular quality by constantly acting in a particular way.”

By developing the winners ethos of starting fast and finishing strong…

You’ll be richly rewarded as you will wake up each day with determination…and go to bed with immense satisfaction.
